Entrance Exam and Related Modalities

Admission = 80% Entrance Exam + 20% ENEM

Vacancies offered through the Enem-Unicamp modality are distributed as follows:

  • 10% for students who have completed high school entirely in public schools;

  • 5% for students who have completed high school entirely in public schools and are self-declared Black, Brown, or Indigenous;

  • 5% for students who are self-declared Black or Brown.

More information

FEA’s Indigenous Entrance Exam provides 4 additional vacancies: 2 for the full-time program (13) and 2 for the evening program (43).

No tests are applied; selection is based on performance in the competitions defined for each course.

The following competitions are recognized for FEA:

  • Ibero-American Mathematical Olympiad
  • OBM – Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad
  •  OBMEP – Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad for Public Schools

Only gold and silver medals from the competitions listed above are accepted.

PAAIS
The Affirmative Action and Social Inclusion Program (PAAIS) provides additional points in both the first and second phases for candidates who attended public schools:

  • 20 points for those who completed middle school (Fundamental II) entirely in public schools

  • 40 points for those who completed high school entirely in public schools

  • For candidates who attended both levels in public schools, a total of 60 points is added

Quota System
At least 25% of the vacancies in each program are reserved for Black and Brown students, with 10% of the total vacancies offered via ENEM and at least 15% via the Unicamp Entrance Exam. Quotas apply to all undergraduate courses and all shifts.

Self-declared Black and Brown candidates opting for the quota system who score above the entrance exam cutoff are admitted if there are enough candidates, until the quota is fulfilled.

ProFis
ProFIS is Unicamp’s pilot higher education program for students who attended public high schools in Campinas. The selection of the 120 available spots is based on ENEM scores rather than the entrance exam. Each public high school in Campinas is guaranteed one vacancy.

ProFIS curriculum includes courses in humanities, biological, exact, and technological sciences, spread over two years. Its goal is to provide students with an integrated view of the contemporary world, preparing them for diverse professional careers.

Internal Transfer

Intended for students enrolled in other UNICAMP programs, also known as internal reallocation. This process is open annually according to the calendar defined by DAC.

External Transfer

The External Transfer is a selective process that allows candidates enrolled in another higher education institution in Brazil or abroad to transfer their enrollment to UNICAMP. At our institution, this process is known as “Remaining Vacancies.” Through this process, it is possible to request credit recognition for courses completed at the originating institution. The process is organized in two phases: a general pre-selection conducted by COMVEST, and a selection based on specific content, under the responsibility of the Undergraduate Commission.
